The Human Trafficking Prevention Notice and Training Act

Effective January 1, 2026, R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-14.1-1 et seq., the Human Trafficking Prevention Notice and Training Act, requires hotel employees and short-term rental property operators to annually receive human trafficking awareness training.
