Residential Solar Energy Disclosure and Homeowners Bill of Rights Act, 2024 P.L. Ch. 67 & 68

The Department of Business Regulation is currently finalizing rules, regulations, procedures, and forms required to implement the Residential Solar Energy Disclosure and Homeowners Bill of Rights Act, 2024 P.L. Ch. 67 & 68. The Department expects to begin licensing retailers, sales representatives, and other entities involved with the sale or lease of residential solar energy systems by April 2025, and will not commence regulatory activities until such time as the licensing system is available.
