Licenses Expiring 06/30/2026:
The email renewal notice was sent to the email address on your account.
The online renewal application is now open and will close on June 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM. If you submit on July 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM or after, you will be locked out and subject to reinstatement.
Paper renewal applications are no longer available. Paper Checks are no longer accepted.
New Licensing System:
The Department launched a new licensing system on November 3, 2025. The User ID and Password that you used previously is now null and void. You are now required to "Register a New OKTA Account" at the following link: https://elicensing.ri.gov, see screenshots of how to register below - click "Register an account" - At the very bottom of the box - "Don't have an account? - Sign up" - Click "Sign up" to establish a new account. When your account is established, click the Renewal Tile (box) to access the online renewal application.
CPE Requirements and Reporting:
The reporting cycle is on a fiscal year from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2026.
You are required to upload your CPE Reporting form that is located on the Board’s
website at the following link: Continuing Professional Education Reporting Form.
If you have too many courses to list on the CPE Reporting form, you could develop an excel spreadsheet with the same exact headings and footers and list each individual course and upload it with the CPE Reporting form. On the CPE Reporting form, enter your name, CPA License Number, in the body enter (See Attached), enter your electronic signature and date.
You can upload multiple documents.
