§ 9-5-10.6. Certified constables’ board The board shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the governor: two (2) who shall be constables in good standing who have served for at least ten (10) years, one of whom shall be recommended by the Rhode Island Constables, Inc. and one recommended by the Rhode Island Constables Association; and three (3) attorneys who shall be licensed to practice law by the supreme court in good standing. Members shall serve for terms of Five (5) years until a successor is appointed and qualified.
