"Affiliated transfers" means the transfer of cannabis products in vertically integrated licensed Compassion Centers (licensed cannabis retail operations with their own licensed cannabis cultivations). Affiliated transfers do not typically have costs associated to them.

"Unaffiliated transfers" means products sold from one licensed facility to another. For example, Cultivator to Compassion Center or Cultivator to Cultivator.
